Indonesian-born, Satrio Nindyo Istiko or Tiko (He/She) is an Indonesian-born, Australian queer writer and a public health social scientist. Tiko writes and studies health inequalities, as they are linked to gender, sexuality, race, and migration. He/She is based in Toulouse, France, and Bradford, United Kingdom, and currently works as a Senior Research Fellow (Qualitative) at Bradford Institute for Health Research.

I have spent over a decade investigating the complex interplay between cultural identity and health access. My work has been featured in international journals and literary magazines alike.
